Roaring Lion x When In Doubt (Montjeu)
I bought this 3yo gelding at Tattersalls Horses in Training Sale by Roaring Lion out of a Montjeu mare who is a half-sister to a multiple Group 1 winner Moonlight Cloud on-spec from Andy Oliver (who I sourced Champion Chaser Dodging Bullets from off the flat as a juvenile originally) he’s called Lion Wait, he’s 16:1 and was an eyecatcher in a couple of 12f Curragh maidens in September and mid-October earning a Timeform Rating of 77.
The three horses from the maiden on his final start to run since have all finished within 3 lengths of winning their next races giving the form some gloss so he has bags of potential.
I’ve brought him home to Webb Hill Farm and he is For Sale.
