Gyenyame – SOLD

I bought Gyenyame (pronounced Gin-Yarmy ! ) at the Tattersalls July Sale in Newmarket, out of Andrew Balding’s yard.  He’s by the ever-successful Nathaniel (sired a Cheltenham Festival winner, Champion Hurdle placed and Triumph Hurdle winner).

This 4yo gelding has already proven his stamina and tremendous attitude after winning his last two outings on both turf and all weather surfaces over 2 miles displaying a lovely flowing action whilst keeping up a monotonous gallop and battling to victory.  Gyenyame, has scope to build on his success on the flat having been raised to a mark of 69 after his Ffos Las success, however I believe this horse is made to jump, with his big 16”2 scopey conformation, which made him really standout for me.

The list of horses coming out of this yard going on to do well over jumps is lengthy.  He has already settled in well at Webb Hill and is looking in great condition after his winning run-on the 5th of July (36 hours before the sale).

Kind regards, Tom
